Sam,

YES, we have another teaser trailer for the new Star Wars movie!
Here’s the link if you’re a noobler and haven’t seen it yet:

We’ve got some more incredible peaks into how the film is going to look. A second shot of the X-Wing fighters soaring over that stretch of water that looks like it could be on Yavin? Kashyyyk? Not sure, but it’s going to be awesome. The other peak at how the film will look was the beautiful sequence featuring the crashed remains of the Star Destroyer in the sands of Tatooine. Can I also say how thrilling it is to see those TIE fighters blasting away in that hanger?

I’m very pleased at how nice and genuine the cinematography looks. Like I said in my first Episode VII post, Abrams seems to be combining the traditional prime way of filming Lucas did in the Trilogy, with miniature models and close up camera, and combining it with the 21st century technology at hand to make it look real and convincing (not that too CGI facade that congested the Prequels).
While there’s some great stuff here, like a friend of mine put it “it feels like it’s leaving more out than giving.” What he means was we still haven’t seen Jason Solo or even Leah. I know the big four are going to be in this cause we saw Han and Chewie’s faces and a hint of Luke from the silvery bionic hand that reached out for R2. The woman and the black Storm Trooper have made another appearance, but their identity is still up for question. The new Sith with the hilted lightsaber is also ambiguous, though I’m sure other fans have been speculating about whom it is.

All in all, I’m stoked for this film. A great perk is that I’m going to be in Disney when it comes out. Gonna be amazing.
